About the Department

The Epworth Volunteer Fire Department has a long tradition of service to the Epworth community. With over 40 active volunteer members, including 15 paramedics and 14 EMTs, the department provides around-the-clock fire suppression, emergency medical services, and rescue operations.

The department holds a Class 4 insurance rating, reflecting the high level of training, equipment, and service provided to residents. This rating can positively impact homeowners' insurance premiums in the coverage area.

Fire Chief Thomas Berger leads the department and its dedicated team of volunteer firefighters and EMS personnel.
